Single-cell (multi-omics) sequencing to study cellular heterogeneity in health and disease

Thierry Voet, co-founder and group leader of the Sanger Institute-EBI Single-Cell Genomics Centre, Hinxton, UK  and Associate Professor of the KU Leuven, Belgium, will be visiting the Institut Curie on Feb 2 and giving a seminar entitled: “Single-cell (multi-omics) sequencing to study cellular heterogeneity in health and disease.

He has developed very impressive methodology to combine single cell DNA sequencing at high coverage with single cell RNAseq (Mcaulay…Voet, Nature Protocols, 2016). Using this technology, he addresses a wide range of important questions from early development to cancer and disease.
