Can we predict and prevent tumour initiation?
Walid’s team is interested in understanding the early steps of epithelial tumour initiation and how that can be used for early detection and prevention of cancer.
In this talk he will be describing their recent work using scRNAseq and mouse models to map cellular changes in mouse and human breast tissue during homeostasis and tumour initiation.
